Daniel Sojka joined VGD Corporate Finance in Mid-2007 as one of the senior advisers. Before joining VGDCF he worked as Senior Manager in Syndicated Loans and Structured Finance Department in Ceska sporitelna, a.s. From 2000 until 2006 Daniel Sojka worked at Zivnostenska banka, a.s. as the Project Manager in Structured Finance Department. Within the scope of these projects the bank provided its clients with comprehensive services, mainly in area of acquisition and project financing. Besides this role Daniel Sojka was also a project leader of a team composed of the bank employees and client in privatization of Czech energy and gas sectors. At the beginning of his career in financial sector (1996 – 2000) Daniel Sojka worked in Komercni banka, a.s. where he managed bank’s participations in syndicated loans and synthetic syndications markets in CEE and Middle East area.

Daniel Sojka graduated from Mathematics & Physics Faculty of Charles University in Prague and he successfully attended several courses and seminars, among others seminars held by University Bocconi in Project and Acquisition Financing. He speaks English fluently.
